32 political parties and 31 Organizations to support Sajith

32 recognized political parties and 31 Organizations entered to a memorandum of understanding with Presidential candidate of the Democratic National Front Sajith Premadasa extending their support.

Signing of the historical political memorandum of understanding took place at Colombo Taj Samudra Hotel in grand scale at an auspicious time in the morning today under the theme of establishing the political pact of a new country , Saving the country – saving the Nation”,.

Former President and Patron of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumarathunga’s aligning with the New Democratic National Front under “ Apri Sri Lanka” people’s power with the majority of that party for the support of Sajith Premadasa, is a historical and special incident.

Presidential candidate of United National Party Sajith Premadasa pledged all religions leaders, political party leaders and leaders of the Organizations that aligned with the Democratic National Front for his support, while emphasizing that Sri Lanka will be developed and made to be a proud Nation that will be honored and loved by the whole world.

Mr. Sajith Premadasa promising to establish democracy, the rule of law, peace, human rights and the freedom of media while ending corruption, terrorism and repression, requested from all parties to join him against the dictatorial family administration to build a new Sri Lanka.

Political leaders including Ranil Wickremasinghe, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Rauff Hakeem, Mano Ganeshan, Arjuna Ranatunga, Palani Digambaram, Rishad Bathiudeen and Chathura Senaratne were also present along with leaders of political parties.
